The Lolli Pool PCR test is carried out in schools and daycare centers.
Children and caregivers suck on a swab like a lollipop for 30 seconds. The saliva test is easy to carry out and therefore ensures a high level of acceptance among children.
The swabs of the children and the staff of a group / class are collected in a common tube (“pool”).
The samples are brought to the laboratory.
In the laboratory, all swabs are tested together on the same day using a PCR test. Testing in the pool saves resources that would not be sufficient for regular individual tests.
No evidence of SARS-CoV-2.
At least 1 person infected.
The health department is informed by the laboratory. All children and staff from this pool must carry out an individual test using a PCR test.
